Yulia Vastchenko, a graduate of the Faculty of International Relations, PhD in political science, has been successfully working in the Russian embassy in Bolivia. Recently she has been actively participating in the LACRUS project and publishing analytical reviews in three languages as part of the project. In the autumn of 2019, Yulia Vastchenko witnessed the dramatic events that were life-changing for Bolivia and the whole Latin America when Evo Morales, the first-ever native Indian President, was removed from power by the right-wing forces supported by the USA. Yulia provided expert commentaries on the situation for our federal channels. The graduate of the Faculty of International Relations commented on the chronicle of the take-over in Bolivia for the programme “60 minutes” in a live television broadcast.
Another graduate of the Faculty of International Relations, Natalia Korotkykh, has studied and worked in Mexico for a long time where she worked on her PhD dissertation dedicated to the chronicles of Spanish conquistadors which she later successfully defended in Spain.
The Faculty is proud of its graduates!
