On 8–9 March, Irina Foret, an associate professor at the Faculty of International Relations at VSU, gave a course of lectures "Legal Basis for Tourism activities in Russia" for master’s students at the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Girona (Spain). The lectures were held online. The students learnt about the regulatory and legal framework of the tourism industry, as well as the peculiarities of organizing tourism business in Russia.
The lectures were held as part of a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of International Relations of VSU and the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Girona. Currently, the universities jointly run a double degree master's programme "International Tourism Management". The programme is taught in two languages: English and Russian. To get a Russian and Spanish diploma, master’s students need to study at VSU and spend one semester at the Spanish university (the semester in Spain is funded by grant support).
