On 4 April, the men’s and women’s teams of VSU took first place at the table tennis championship of the Voronezh Region among the teams of educational institutions. The competition was held at the sports facility of Voronezh State Technical University.
Men’s teams from eight universities and women’s teams from six universities participated in the championship. VSU’s combined team was represented by two women’s and two men’s teams. Olga Belikova, Daria Shulgina, Ellina Negovora, and Vitalia Chelak played for the women's team VSU-1. VSU-2 was represented by Ksenia Kuchina, Sabina Usarova, Elizaveta Pugacheva, and Valeria Chelak. Dmitry Kulinchenko, Maxim Kulinchenko, and Pavel Avakyan played for the men's team VSU-1. VSU-2 was represented by Roman Ryazhenov, Alexander Khudobin, and Vladislav Karpuzov.
The team of Voronezh State Technical University took the second place and VSU-2 took the third place in the competition among women's teams. The students from Voronezh State Technical University took the second place and the students from Voronezh State Institute of Physical Training took the third place among men. VSU-2 came fifth.
