Between 30 March and 8 April, another series of meetings was held with teachers and schoolchildren of Voronezh secondary schools. The meetings are conducted by the Department of Pre-university Education of VSU as part of the project “Science for children. Children for science” dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology.
Teachers and schoolchildren talked to VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky, deans Alexander Shashkin, Vladimir Tulupov, and Alexey Slivkin, and Professor Evelina Domashevskaya. Over 300 guests visited VSU's museums, including the Professor Barabash-Nikiforov Zoology Museum, the Preobrazhensky Museum of Geology, the History Museum, and the Book Museum.
Museum tours were organised by museum fund keepers Alla Shchemilina, Angelika Makarova, and Alexandra Stepynina, the leading specialist of the Department of Pre-university Education Larisa Sertakova, and staff members from the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, associate professors Alexander Klimov and Elena Trufanova together with the first category engineer Elena Seredina.
