Between 24 and 28 May, the football competition among male teams was held at the Lokomotiv stadium in the framework of the Universiade between universities of the Voronezh Region 2020–2021.
The prizes were awarded as follows:
- 1st place – Voronezh State Institute of Physical Training
- 2nd place – Voronezh State Technical University
- 3rd place – Voronezh State University
Among the members of the VSU team were students from the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Physics, the Faculty of Mathematics, the Faculty of History, the Faculty of Geology, the Faculty of Journalism, the Faculty of Computer Sciences, and the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics.
