A new academic year at the university started with modern music played by the Mohave Band cover band which started their performance at 9.30 am at the entrance of the main building of VSU.
At 10 am, the VSU Rector, Dmitry Endovitsky, gave a public lecture in the auditorium. Alexander Zakurdayev, deputy chairperson of the Central Black Earth Branch of PAO Sberbank, also welcomed the audience.
The lecture was broadcast on the university's YouTube channel so that everybody could take part in the event online. Dmitry Endovitsky talked about the principal concepts of the university’s code of ethics and the opportunities that the university opens up for its students. The rector advised students on adapting to the academic environment and career growth.
“Merge with the rhythm of the university, do not solely fixate on faculty life. The university provides you with a lot of freedom, which means you have to be your own critic,” said Dmitry Endovitsky.
