For ten years in a row, VSU has been included in the THE World University Rankings. The data were published on Thursday, 2 September.
According to the experts, the international component, i.e. the number of international students and staff members at the university, is among the strengths of Voronezh State University. The university has over 2,000 international students, it has made agreements with nearly 200 universities from all over the world, including the USA, France, Spain, Great Britain, and Germany.
The experts of the British ranking agency Times Higher Education assess universities against six criteria: academic reputation, employer reputation, student-to-faculty ratio, percentage of international academic staff members, percentage of international students, and the number of citations to university publications per staff member.
The 2022 ranking was comprised of 1,662 universities, including 60 Russian universities.
