Voronezh State University entered the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject. The ranking was published on Thursday, 16 September. VSU took 1001+ position in the category “Physical sciences”.
The ranking uses 5 key parameters: citations, industry income, international outlook, teaching, and research. Our university had 41.8 points in the category “international outlook”.
“It is not by accident that VSU is included in recognised international rankings. This is a result of the meticulous work of physicists and fruitful cooperation with the leading global research centres specialising in physics. Such rankings prove that the research conducted by the scientists of Voronezh State University is in demand and influential,” said Dmitry Zhukalin, associate professor at the Department of Semiconductor Physics and Microelectronics.
