Students from the Faculty of Physics of Voronezh State University had a tour at OOO AEDON. Among the participants were students completing bachelor’s programmes “Electronics and Nanoelectronics”, “Physics” (major “Solid-state Physics”) and master’s students (programme “Physics”, major “Physics of Nanosystems”).

OOO AEDON is a leading Russian manufacturer of electric power supply systems of industrial and special purposes. The company specialises in experimental development and the mass production of ready-made power supply systems. During the tour, the students learnt about the possibilities of automating manufacturing routing, the products of the company, and the specifics of the market. They also learnt what qualities a graduate should have to take part in the company’s projects.

“It was the second tour at an enterprise in recent months so I had an opportunity to compare the management of manufacturing processes, the working climate, the structure, and my emotions. The working climate and the design of production buildings were wonderful, I felt comfortable in any department, and the staff were very friendly and positive-minded. During a lecture of one of the staff members, I felt like delving into this area, learning more about it, and trying my hand in this sphere. AEDON offers good employment opportunities. When I start my master’s programme, I will try myself in this area of physics,” said Evgeny Kersnovsky, a fourth year student.
