On 11 November, VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky took part in an online meeting with Federica Mogherini, Rector of the College of Europe. They discussed the possibilities of Russian students to enter the College and they also talked about strategic initiatives in the development of cooperation with Russian partners. Representatives of Russian universities and Markus Ederer, the EU Ambassador to Russia, also participated in the meeting.
“Since the 1980s, over 1000 specialists from Germany, France, Italy, and Great Britain have come to VSU for internships and training. It’s a great group of professionals who know Russia well. VSU, in its turn, has also taken part in more than 50 European projects since the 1990s. I studied at the Business School of the Irish National University and at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) and completed internships at the universities of Granada and Paris,” noted VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky.
The meeting with Federica Mogherini was organised by the EU delegation for rectors and leading Russian specialists in European Studies in order to discuss important issues of the education of the new generation of students in the field of European studies. The College of Europe is a centre of excellence in European studies and one of the most prestigious postgraduate educational institution in the EU.
