Works by students from the Faculty of Journalism enter the short list of the international festival of social advertising and journalism

Works by students from the Faculty of Journalism enter the short list of the international festival of social advertising and journalism “MediaFest HUMANI FUTURE”. The short list was published on 12 November.

Three works by students from the Faculty of Journalism were nominated for the “Multimedia project”, including a project by Andrey Maksimov and Olga Chernushkina, a publication by Anastasia Poltorykhina, Yulia Frantsova, Arina Strizhak, and Alexandra Tararykova, and a project by Pavel Ponomarev, Anastasia Minkina, Ekaterina Shamaeva, Angelina Obolonskaya, and Anastasia Pavlova.

Two works by Polina Sukhanova, student from the Faculty of Journalism, also entered the short list of the competition in two nominations “Special Report” and “Podcast”. The first nomination was for Polina’s radio story “Sunshine kids” from a photo exhibition dedicated to children with Down syndrome. The second nomination was for her radio investigation “Hello, delivery” about the life of food delivery employees in Voronezh. Both works were released on student radio station “Navigator”.

The competition was organised by Saint Petersburg State University. The final stage of “HUMANI FUTURE” will be held on 24–26 November in St. Petersburg where the results of the media festival will be announced. The programme will include workshops by leading specialists in the field of advertising and journalism.
