Tatyana Prokofieva and Yuri Perin, coaches of the VSU swimming school, took part in the Russian Swimming Cup held in Saransk. the capital of Mordovia. VSU swimmers participated in the Masters Championship and returned to Voronezh with six gold medals. Among the competitors were 689 athletes from 63 Russian clubs. Tatyana Prokofieva was awarded a certificate and a badge of the Master of Sports of International Class in the Masters category at the opening ceremony.
Tatyana Prokofieva was the winner in the 50, 100, and 200 metre breaststroke. Yuri Perin took first places in the 50, 100, and 200 metre backstroke. Both VSU employees acted as authorised representatives of the Russian Masters Swimming Federation at the competitions.
