On 24–25 November 2021, the International Research and Practice Conference “Sustainable Development of the Digital Economy: Global Challenges and Prospects for an Innovative Breakthrough” was held at Voronezh State University. It was organised together with the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, and St. Petersburg State Agrarian University. The participants were welcomed by VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky, Vice-Rector for Research, Innovations, and Digitising, Oleg Kozaderov, and Vice-Rector for Economics and Contract Services, Larisa Korobeinikova. Larisa Korobeinikova made a report on “Assessment of corruption risks in purchasing goods, works, and services in the context of digitalisation” at the plenary meeting.
Two discussion platforms were opened at Voronezh State University:
- 24 November 2021 – “Experience of the implementation of breakthrough innovations in entrepreneurship: development of human potential and partnership for technological progress” moderated by the Vice-Rector for Economics and Contract Services, Head of the Department of Economic Analysis and Audit, Associate Professor Larisa Korobeinikova (PhD in Economics).
- 25 November 2021 – “Breakthrough innovations in the digital economy and their contribution to sustainable development’ moderated by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Head of the Department of Economics, Marketing, and Commerce, Professor Pavel Kanapukhin (DSc in Economics).
The high level and qualifications of the conference participants, representatives of the industries of the Russian economy, the academic and expert community, developers of new technological solutions, allowed conducting a meaningful discussion.
The interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary studies are focused on the issues of design, development, and introduction of digital control technologies joining the forces of scientists, experts, and specialists in the field of ICT, management, and economics. The discussion of the questions brought together students, the academic staff of VSU, Samara State Agrarian University, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and representatives of different companies, such as Atos, KPMG, Trasko, Russkaya Oliva, Group of Companies Innovation Systems, and Sberbank.
