On 2 February, a meeting between students and representatives of the federal pharmacy chain “Aprel” took place at the Faculty of Pharmaceutics of VSU. Among the participants of the event were Yulia Selutina, territory manager of the pharmacy chain, Ivan Maslov, pharmacy opening manager, and Alina Zueva and Maria Nikulina, heads of the pharmacy groups.
The meeting was devoted to the prospects for the career growth of graduates from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the pharmacy chain “Aprel”. The representatives of the company told the students about career paths and career growth from the position of a pharmacist to senior positions. Yulia Selutina graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy in 2016 and the other representatives of the company are residency graduates from the Faculty of Pharmacy of 2019. All of them agreed that at the faculty they received the necessary knowledge and skills for a successful career.
The representatives of the company organised a business game which included study cases, which senior students found very interesting to solve. The participants of the meeting asked various questions about employment requirements, the range of vacancies in the pharmacy chain, and its trademark.
