Ekaterina Kurganova, Associate Professor at the Department of Public Relations, Advertising, and Design at the Faculty of Journalism of VSU, took part in the first BASIC module of the LIVE playing technique workshop at the Skolkovo management school. The module was held between 31 January and 6 February and was a part of the professional development programme of the VSU lecturer.
Ekaterina Kurganova was able to participate in the workshop due to her victory in the competition “Academic Landing” organised within the grant contest of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation. The contest is aimed at the development of important teacher competences supported by the foundation of professional mobility programmes.
The workshop at Skolkovo, among other things, is aimed at developing strategic vision and enterprise thinking. The experts of the Skolkovo school of management share their experience in educational engineering and techniques and solutions that have been successfully implemented in real life. The programme offers an opportunity to test scenarios of the future now, in the context of the changing educational industry.
“The target audience of the course includes teachers. I am one of them and I hope to use the grant to learn new tools of development of playing techniques, to enhance my skills of development and design of game-based solutions, and to introduce in the educational process educational games developed during the programme,” said Ekaterina Kurganova.
