A men’s VSU team took third place in handball competitions in the Voronezh Region Universiade.
“We had the right vibe, we aspired to make the mark, especially considering the fact that all the teams were really committed: they had shored up rosters, had practised a lot, and other things. Thanks to our goalkeeper we felt more self-assure: he stopped many goals at the right moment,” said Yegor Chuvakin, a participant of the Universiade.
“We were really determined to win, we understood that we can and we must fight for the victory with each and every team! We had a competitive spirit, we craved to go on the court and fight for each centimetre of it! Our players gave their best and we want to express our immense gratitude for it,” said Dmitry Polishchuk and Mikhail Andreyev.
