On 8 June, the rating agency RAEX published the ranking of the 100 best Russian universities. In 2022 Voronezh State University has moved up by 2 points and took 43rd place.

The ranking includes universities from 31 Russian regions. The experts used statistical data and the results of surveys of over 85 thousand representatives of the academic community, students, graduates, and employers. Such criteria as the level of teaching, international integration, resources, and the demand among prospective students were taken into account for the assessment of the quality of education. To evaluate the employers’ demand for graduates, cooperation with employers and the careers of former students were assessed. The evaluation of the level of research at the university was based on its research potential, scientific achievements, and research infrastructure.

The RAEX-100 rankings have been published annually since 2012. Their goal is to evaluate the ability of universities to provide their graduates with high quality knowledge and skills in view of conditions in which they had been developed and of the results of their application. VSU has entered the ranking every year.
