On 7 July, staff of the Department of Pedagogy and Pedagogical Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology of VSU, Professor Lyubov Kovtunenko, Associate Professor Olga Mazkina, DSc in Psychology Marina Larskikh, and senior lecturer Olga Ivanova, took part in the 3rd International Scientific Congress “Russia and the challenges of the modern world” dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the interregional educational noncommercial organisation Orthodox Scientists Union. The congress was held at Voronezh State Technical University. The first stage of the congress included the 10th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Orthodox scientists in the modern world”, guided tours, and a banquet.
The congress discussed the new education doctrine in Russia, legal protection of the traditional spiritual and moral values, ideology, and values of today’s Russia, as well as the evangelical values and the future of the orthodox world.
