Between 29 August and 4 September, the “School of Student Activists” educational forum took place at the Venevitinovo sport and fitness complex. The participants of the forum were selected from among student activists. The applications had to be submitted starting from the middle of July. The programme of the event included over 40 educational events, communication with speakers, and concerts that were played every evening. The forum was attended by over 200 students, 35 organisers, 60 guest participants (people who attended separate lectures and master classes held within the educational programme but did stay for all the days of the forum), and over 30 speakers.
In total, the forum had seven creative areas: Theatre (two teams of senior student actors, a team of first-year actors, and a team of directors), Music, Original Genre, Media, Dancing, Dancing (production designers), and Organisers and Scene Designers.
“The “School of Student Activists” forum was one of the highlights of this summer for all the participants and organisers! The participants gained theoretical and practical knowledge, made many useful acquaintances, and had the opportunity to demonstrate their talents at evening concerts. It was very sad to part with my team as everyone became good friends and got used to each other. We'll miss lectures, concerts, filming, and rehearsals. We can definitely say that we will cherish the memories of this one-week forum for a very long time!” said Daria Solodovnikova, SMM specialist of the VSU union of student activists.
