On 1–2 October, the main building of VSU hosted the 3rd All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “The World Through the Eyes of a Child”. It was organised by the Association of Educators, Psychologists, and Psychotherapists and GK Zdorovy rebyenok. The title partner of the event was Voronezh State University.
The conference brought together 150 participants and 25 speakers from various cities (Moscow, Vladivostok, St. Petersburg, Belgorod, etc.). The keynote speakers were Elena Nikolaeva, DSc in Biology, Professor, Head of the Department of Age Psychology and Family Pedagogy, Herzen State Pedagogical University, and Igor Dobryakov, Associate Professor, PhD in Medicine, Psychiatrist, Senior Research Fellow of the Scientific and Organisational Department of V.M. Bekhterev National Research Medical Centre for Psychiatry and Neurology.
The conference was attended by more than 20 students and master’s students specialising in Psychology and Psychological and Pedagogical Education, members of the Department of Pedagogy and Pedagogical Psychology Olga Mazkina, Marina Larskikh, and Lyubov Kovtunenko, as well as Olga Ivanova, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology. Olga Ivanova chaired the masterclass held on the first day of the conference. She presented a theoretical analysis of maternal burnout and a clinical case study on the topic.
“The conference addressed different aspects of childhood. It was important for me to take part in it not only as a speaker, but also as a participant, getting a lot of new information for my research and practice,” said Olga Ivanova.
