At the end of September, the XIX International Scientific Conference “Interaction of Literature in the World Literary Congress. Problems of the theory and history of poetics” took place in Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno. The conference was organized by the Department of Russian Philology. This year the conference brought together more than a hundred participants from Belarus, Russia, and Poland, who presented reports under the common theme "Traumatic experience and its overcoming in a creative impulse."
The conference was attended by employees of the Department of History and Typology of Russian and Foreign Literature of the Faculty of Philology of VSU. Professor Ksenia Nagina made a report on “Psychological study of the child's soul: the traumatic experience of a child in the image of L. Tolstoy, S. Aksakov, F. Dostoevsky” at the plenary meeting. Associate Professor of the Department, Lyudmila Bobritskikh, made a report on the traumatic situation and ways of overcoming it in the military ballads of A.T. Tvardovsky.
The conference resulted in fruitful scientific communication and the establishment of scientific contacts between representatives of different countries. As part of the scientific and educational partnership between the Voronezh and Grodno universities, the possibility of opening a network master's degree program at the Faculty of Philology of the Voronezh State University was discussed. This program will create a uniform education environment for students and teachers of the two universities.
