On 17 November, a meeting was held between the representatives of VSU and Concern Oceanpribor. They discussed the plans for cooperation and joint projects.
Igor Seleznev, Deputy Director General and Head of the Priority Technology Branch, and Yan Ivakin, Deputy Director General for Innovations and Civil Projects, talked about the history of the concern and its work.
VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky spoke about the scientific research at VSU and said that he was looking forward to effective cooperation.
Concern Oceanpribor was founded in 2006 as an integrated structure that combined scientific and industrial potential of the country in the field of underwater acoustics. The integrated structure included research institutes and factories which over the past decades have been mainly producing hydroacoustic complexes, stations for shipbuilding, and various hydroacoustic equipment for the national economy.
