A film by the teachers of the Faculty of Journalism is the winner of the television festival "Profession – Journalist"

The film "Vyazovoy. Light and Shadow” by Natalia Gaag, teacher of VSU Faculty of Journalism (cameraman and editor – Valery Zaborovsky, Director of the Educational Television Laboratory of VSU Faculty of Journalism), became the winner of the XIV Moscow International TV Festival “Profession – Journalist”. In the "Professional Recognition" nomination, the hero of the TV report, a former teacher of journalism at Voronezh State University, photographer Mikhail Vyazovoy, received the main prize. The award ceremony took place on November 20 at the Central House of Cinematographers.

The main character of the film is the famous Voronezh photographer Mikhail Petrovich Vyazovoн. The film is a portrait essay about fate, creativity, and profession. The deliberate, everyday narrative invites the viewer to contemplate the ideas.

The organising committee of the TV festival received 119 films from various cities of Russia, 33 were selected for the competition. Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Saransk, Saratov, Bryansk, Muravlenko, Belgorod, Orenburg, Khabarovsk, Kirov, Ufa, Omsk, and many other cities composed the wide the geography of participants. The festival is organised by the Guild of Film Directors of Russia and supported by the Moscow Department of Mass Media and Advertising.
