On 8 February, the Government of the Voronezh region concluded the results of the annual competition of innovative projects “Innovation Cup”. Voronezh State University was announced to be the best innovative university in the region. Moreover, five representatives of VSU became laureates of the competition. The award ceremony was held by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Voronezh Region, Oleg Mosolov.
The first place was given to Anastasia Kharina for the project “A purification technology of amino acid solutions by means of electrodialysis”. The third place was given to Svetlana Vasilieva for the project “Introduction of the technologies for obtaining natural vitamin E from sunflower oil waste products at agricultural enterprises”. She shared the third place with Igor Dolgikh, who was awarded for the project “Production of silicon carbide flakes by means of electropulse stratification of single crystals”.
Special prizes were given to Vladimir Vasilchikov for the project “A service for the parametrised search of real estate” and Yulia Polkovnikova for the project “Method for producing liposomal drugs for the correction of autonomic disorders caused by post-COVID syndrome”.
The researchers will be awarded prizes of 120–550 thousand roubles. VSU also obtained the right to hold the Young Scientist Forum at the end of the year.
The objective of the annual interuniversity competition of innovative projects “Innovation Cup” is to encourage innovative activity of the universities in the Voronezh Region and develop innovative projects that can be commercialised and implemented by the region’s enterprises.
