“Over the last ten years, our ornithologists have compiled and published three large summaries: the first urban atlas in Russia (Voronezh Breeding Bird Atlas), the second edition of the Red Book of the region, and the Cadastre of terrestrial vertebrates of the Voronezh Region. I shared this experience with the congress participants,” said Aleksandr Numerov, Chair of the Central Black Earth Department of the Russian Bird Conservation Union, Professor of the Department of Zoology and Parasitology at VSU.
