400 participants of the online stage of the national competition “League of Lecturers” by the Russian Society “Knowledge” passed to the semifinal, which will be held this spring in 10 major cities in each federal district of the Russian Federation. During the online stage, the lecturers gave speeches in front of thousands of online viewers, who together with the jury evaluated their eloquence, creativity in terms of presenting the material, and uniqueness of the presented topic.
Six educators from the Voronezh Region will continue to compete for the title of the best lecturer in the country. Voronezh Region will be represented by Angelina Akatova, Zoya Gryazeva, Igor Kukuev, Ilya Naletov, Igor Pluzhnikov, and Sergey Popov.
Among the participants of the online stage were 800 lecturers from 77 regions of Russia. The lecturers' speeches were broadcast live on the website of the “League of Lecturers” and the page of the Znanie Society on the social network VKontakte. The event had more than a million views. The speeches of the contestants were evaluated not only by the jury, but also by the audience, who could give a sign of approval to the lecturers they liked.
