During a working trip to Mongolia, the Rector of VSU Dmitry Endovitsk and Vice-Rector for Economics and Contract Services Larisa Korobeynikova held many meetings aimed at restoring and strengthening cooperation.
Negotiations were held with the First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Mongolia, Acting Head of Rossotrudnichestvo's representative offices in Mongolia, Acting Head of the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar Valeria Kilpyakova, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Mongolia Maxim Vasiliev, Chargé d'Affaires of the Russian Embassy in Mongolia Sergey Kramintsev, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister's Lists, Advisor on International Cooperation, ex-CEO of Erdenet Khalzkhkk Narankhuu, Head of Student Development Department of General Directorate of Education – Executive Agency of the Government of Mongolia Zhanchivdorzh Bolormaa, leading specialist in foreign languages of General Directorate of Education - the executive agency of the Government of Mongolia S. Aldarmaa and Deputy Director for Student Affairs of the Russian-Mongolian School Nailya Olenkova.
Issues of joint activities for the promotion of Russian education, the organization of joint projects aimed at improving the qualifications of teachers of the Russian language, the organization of practice for students of Russian studies, as well as scientific relations between the countries were discussed. The parties expressed their interest and readiness in establishing partnerships with the higher and secondary educational institutions of Mongolia and, as well as organizing mutually beneficial educational projects.
In addition, representatives of VSU took part in the IX Russian Educational Exhibition STUDY IN RUSSIA, where they made a presentation of the university and spoke about the conditions for the admission of Mongolian applicants.
