On 1 April, the Faculty of Pharmacy of VSU hosted the eighth contest of innovative projects of students and applicants "Pharmacy of the Future – 2023", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The jury included the heads of the Zdorovy Gorod, Maksavit, and Gorzdrav pharmacy chains considered ten projects created by teams of students from the third to the fifth year, dedicated to new information technologies in the pharmaceutical market, social innovation projects in pharmacy, innovations in the management and marketing of pharmaceutical organizations, and innovations in the technology of dosage forms.
The first place was taken by fourth-year student Alexandra Pivovarova, who presented a project dedicated to a smartphone application and a pharmacy chain loyalty system. The second place was taken by a team of fifth-year students: Madina Abdukhalilova, Ekaterina Gaiterova, Tatyana Zvyagintseva, and Daria Shapovalova. The team presented a project for a smartphone application for internal use by pharmacy chain employees. The jury awarded the third place to the team of fourth-year students (Ekaterina Aksenova, Anastasia Skibina, Anastasia Yunusova, Olga Yarichina) with the Pharma safety project, which is a smartphone application that allows improving the pharmacovigilance system.
The prize of 25 thousand roubles, according to the decision of the company's management, was awarded to the team of fifth-year students with the project "Pharmacy of the Future in the Company Zdorovy Gorod". Also, fourth-year student Alexandra Pivovarova received the prize of 25 thousand roubles for the Zdorovy Gorod application and loyalty system project.
