On 31 March, students of the International Education Institute of Voronezh State University, headed by Natalia Vella, Deputy Director for Extra-Curricular Activities of the Institute of International Education, took part in the thematic discussion platform "Territory of Communication". The event, organized by the Department of Education and Youth Policy of the Voronezh Government, was held at the Voronezh State Forest Engineering University named after G.F. Morozov.
The aim of the platform was the prevention of extremist displays and interethnic conflicts among young people. The topic of the discussion platform was "The role of intercultural dialogue among young people in the process of creative activity."
Students of the International Education Institute presented an exhibition of national arts and performed folk dances.
“There are no nations on our planet that would be superfluous, since each nation is great and wonderful. Each nation has its own culture, traditions, and customs. When we meet, we begin to understand each other better. We adopt the best qualities of each other. The best qualities are the ability to love, make friends, and create mutual understanding”, said Sergey Kazarov, Advisor of the Department of Social and Political Projects of the Regional Policy Department of the Government of the Voronezh Region.
