Last week, a Universiade in various sports took place.
In the fierce competition between VSU’s women’s team and the team from the Voronezh State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the girls managed to score one goal, but the competitor turned out to be more experienced. As a result, with a score of 2:1, the girls took second place at the Universiade in indoor soccer for the first time. The VSU’s women’s team had been trained for the competition by coach Mikhail Utkin.
In the final for the third place, the athletes of the men's team score four goals. Due to the serious preparation of the men's team by coaches Artyom Khodov and Alexander Sikorsky, the students became bronze winners of the competition.
