At the end of April, VSU students from the cybersport club “VSU Esports” participated in warm-up games with the teams from the Central Black Earth Bank. They played Dota 2 and CS:GO.
Each battle was played until two victories. The “VSU Esports” team won in both games. The score in Dota 2 was 2:0, and in CS:GO they played all three maps with the final score of 2:1.
The cybersport club “VSU Esports” was represented by the students from the Faculty of Computer Sciences, the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Mathematics, and the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology.
“I’m really glad that the players from the Central Black Earth Bank managed to find the time for this game. It’s great that more and more people from different areas are getting interested in cybersports. During the games everybody had a wonderful time and made new friends. I hope there will be more joint events related to cybersports,” said Sergei Ivliev, head of the cybersport club “VSU Esports”.
