On 27 April, Career Day was held at the Faculty of Pharmaceutics of VSU. More than 100 students from higher education programmes took part in the meeting. Students from the Faculty of Pharmaceutics met 8 partner companies.
Career Day was divided into two parts. The students visited the companies’ presentations and a career quest. During the first meeting, the representatives of partner companies told them about work conditions and their requirements to job applicants.
In the course of the quest, the student teams had to perform tasks given by the partner companies. Pharmaimpex offered their version of the “Where is logic?” game, Vita’s task was to decipher prescriptions, and Aprel prepared some riddles and a version of the “Broken Telephone” game adapted to their professional area. Zdorovy Gorod and Servier offered quiz games on pharmaceutics, and together with Melodia Zdorovia the students cracked a code and thought of associations in their professional field. Representatives of Maksavit and 36.6 offered a game in the form of questions and answers.
“After the quest, the students received presents and filled in the questionnaires choosing their prospective internship. The participants noted that such unusual process of interaction with employers involving both games and educational processes allowed choosing a potential employer for their internships and getting new knowledge,” said Tatyana Zhuravleva who is responsible for the employment of graduates from the Faculty of Pharmaceutics and their relations with employers.
