On 7 May the championship of the VSU swimming school took place. Students of VSU swimming coaches Natalia Ismailova, Tatyana Prokofieva, and Yuri Perin showed great results in various disciplines. In some competitions the difference between the participants’ results was 0.01 seconds.
The event began with the festival of swimming for beginner groups in the 25 m freestyle. The second part included contests for 50 and 100 meters. 147 original medals of the VSU swimming school were prepared for the participants.
Some classification standards were achieved in the course of the event. Gleb Gurvich achieved the second senior category in the 50 m butterfly stroke and Kirill Kozlov achieved the same category in the 100 m medley. Darina Travina, Mikhail Gribanov, Alexander Parinov, and Vlad Gaidarly achieved the third senior category.
