On 5 June, the Faculty of International Relations of VSU hosted the third stage of the cycle of video conferences for lecturers and staff of the Atlantic Zone Regional Centre of the National University of Comahue (Argentina). Lectures were delivered by Professor Oleg Belenov, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, and Danil Kustov, Head of the Department of Economic Development of the Voronezh Region, Associate Professor of the Department of Regional Studies and International Economies.
Oleg Belenov’s report was devoted to the development of Russia’s innovation sector under sanctions. The main provisions of the report were developed as part of the “21st Century Competences” educational project supported by the Vladimir Potanin Foundation.
Danil Kustov outlined the condition of the regional economy on the example of the Voronezh Region. Aleksandr Abramov, an alumnus of the Faculty of International Relations, who currently lives in Argentina and works as a sworn interpreter for the Supreme Court, did a great job of organising the event, coordinating, and providing linguistic support for intercultural communication.
Participants and trainees of the Regional University Centre paid great attention to the presentations of the Russian lecturers and expressed high interest in cooperation with VSU.
