VSU was included in the RAEX-100 ranking of the top higher education institutions of Russia, which is part of the Three University Missions group of rankings. The university improved its positions compared to last year and rose to 42nd position. Among Voronezh universities, the Burdenko Voronezh State Medical University was also included in the ranking, it took 90th position. In total, universities from 29 regions of Russia were included in the list.
The universities were evaluated according to the following criteria: conditions for receiving quality education, demand for graduates by employers, and the level of research activity. The ranking was based on statistical indicators as well as the results of the surveys conducted among 120 thousand respondents including representatives of the academic community, students, graduates, and employers.
The RAEX-100 ranking of top Russian universities is an integral assessment of the quality of training of university graduates, determined by quantitative parameters of their educational and research activities and qualitative characteristics reflecting the opinion of key reference groups: employers, representatives of the academic community, students, and graduates. The statistical data included the results of university surveys, scientometric indicators, and data from open sources.
