Expert analytical centre has published the results of the eighth phase of the study of the publication activity of Russian universities for 2023. The universities’ subject performance ranking took into account the work of the faculties of Russian universities in the main subject areas. Voronezh State University was listed in the ranking for 11 out of 26 areas.
Voronezh State University took the following places in the mentioned subject areas:
- Chemical Engineering: positions 34–36
- Chemistry: positions 32–34
- Material Sciences: positions 36–37
- Mathematics: positions 30–32
- Physics: position 34
- Biosciences: positions 29–30
- Pharmacology: positions 42–44
- As part of Materials Sciences, Metallurgy: position 40
- As part of Biosciences, Agriculture: position 28
- As part of Materials Science, Biomaterials: position 53
- As part of Social Sciences, Archaeology: position 24
The indicators in the four main areas were taken into consideration during the assessment of universities’ activities: “Scope”, “Growth Rate”, “Demand”, and “Excellence”. The ranking data were calculated for 2019–2022. The ranking included the universities that published more than 0.5% of all Russian publications in the corresponding area during the studied period.
