On 14 July, VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky and Rector of Baltic Federal University Alexander Fedorov signed a partnership agreement.
The partnership involves the following directions.
- Support of academic mobility within the framework of the corresponding international and national programmes including academic and scientific exchange of students, teachers, and administrative staff, internships, and visits aimed at studying the successful experience.
- Development of joint educational projects in the sphere of higher education; organising lectures and advanced training courses within the framework of academic exchange programmes.
- Initiation and support of joint research projects.
- Joint publications; support in organising joint scientific conferences and methodological workshops, training sessions, and symposiums.
- Exchange of information that is of interest for both parties; promotion of cultural exchange.
Certain faculties of both universities have been collaborating for a long time.
“Our head of departments and leading researchers have been working together for decades. It is time we made this collaboration official and move on to the next level. Combining the power of our centres for the collective use of scientific equipment and our efforts in post-graduate training, we can obtain a unique synergistic effect.
Voronezh State University is ready to be a hub which will help both universities to achieve their objectives”, said Dmitry Endovitsky.
