This week, a delegation from Voronezh State University headed by Rector Dmitry Endovitsky has visited Dagestan State University. As part of the visit, VSU Rector met Murtazali Rabadanov, Rector of DSU.
VSU representatives told their partners about the areas of the university’s activities and the results of the admissions campaign. The DSU Rector told them about how their university was created and added that he was always willing to implement interesting joint projects.
Murtazali Rabadanov conducted a tour of the Dagestan State University for the delegation of our university. At the ethnographic museum, VSU representatives saw the artefacts collected by students during archaeological excavations. The guests saw the research laboratories of the faculties of physics and chemistry and also visited the zoological museum and aquatic complex of DSU.
At the “Boiling Point” event at DSU, the rectors of both universities welcomed the participants of the entrepreneurial competencies training.
“What you do is highly important. One can be a biologist, a physicist, or a chemist, but if you have entrepreneurial skills, you become twice more useful for the labour market. It is very important not just to invent something, but also know how to sell it and to master this skill,” said Dmitry Endovitsky.
The DSU Rector wished the students luck and said he was sure they would succeed. Oleg Grishayev, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Social Development at VSU, Magomed Gairbekov, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Social Development at DSU, and others also attended the meeting.
