“Watercolour World” is the name of the exhibition opened in Liski, bringing together seventeen artists from Voronezh, Liski, and St. Petersburg.
Eighty watercolour paintings were displayed in two exhibition halls of the city: Liski local history museum and Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God Cathedral. Among the participants are honoured art workers of the Russian Federation, members of the Union of Artists of Russia, the Union of Watercolour Painters of Russia, and other professional unions.
The author of the idea and implementation of the project is honoured art worker of the Russian Federation, honoured artist of the Voronezh Region Vladimir Goncharov.
– In the presented paintings, the artists show their view of the world around us. Each work contains a modern understanding of reality, a philosophical understanding of the world, and a memorable image of what was seen. Each work demonstrates the sharpness of sight and firmness of the hand of masters who are especially concerned with the theme of the beauty of nature,” shared the honoured art worker of the Russian Federation.
In addition to Vladimir Goncharov, who teaches at the Faculty of Journalism of VSU, the dean of the Faculty of Journalism, Vladimir Tulupov, also took part in the exhibition.
