In October, an international scientific and practical conference “Semiconductor opto- and nanoelectronic, alternative energy sources and their prospects” was held in Andijan, Uzbekistan. Among the speakers of the event was Professor Ekaterina Rembeza from the Department of General Physics of VSU.
During the plenary session, she gave a report dedicated to “Metal oxide/silicon heterostructures as promising structures for creating solar cells”. The co-authors of this projects were T.V. Svistova, N.N. Kosheleva, and M.B. Rasulova. Ekaterina Rembeza also gave lectures dedicated to the “Physics of thin films” for bachelor students from the Faculty of Physics of Andijan State University and Andijan State Pedagogical Institute.
The visit of the professor from the Faculty of Physics to Andijan universities contributed to the strengthening and development of cooperation between VSU and the universities of Uzbekistan.
