On 14 November, the ceremony of laying flowers at the commemorative plaque dedicated to the founders of the university was held in the main building of VSU. This event was dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the first lectures held at VSU.
After the representatives of VSU honoured the memory of the older generation, the Rector of VSU, Dmitry Endovitsky, treated students with a cake.
To celebrate the 105th anniversary of Voronezh State University, an exhibition was held in the lobby of the first floor of the main university building of VSU. The exhibition was divided into several sections: “From Derpt University to Voronezh State University”, “Difficult Years of Formation”, and “Confidently Surging Ahead”. The employees of the Museum and Exhibition Centre of VSU spoke about the formation of Voronezh University. They selected for the exhibition authentic exhibits stored at the VSU History Museum: “a magic lantern” (a device for projecting images (1927)), a gramophone (a mechanical device for playing gramophone records), a portable version of a gramophone, and original photographs.
