The results of the finals of the regional award “Time of the Young” were announced in Voronezh. 30 employees from local government bodies and secondary vocational and higher educational organisations of the region took part in the in-person stage of the competition. They competed for the title of leaders in youth policy. The competition became a forum for sharing experience, trying out competences, and forming a community of specialists in the region.
Following the results of the competition, the winners and prize-winners were determined in three nominations. Among them were teachers and students of Voronezh State University. Second place in the nomination “The best specialist of higher education institutions in the Voronezh Region, supervising educational work and youth policy” went to Aleksandra Nazarova, Head of the Department of Student Affairs. Tatyana Solodovnikova, a second year master’s degree student of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, took third place. Anna Meshcheryakova, specialist of the Department of Student Affairs, was among the finalists of the regional award.
In order to participate in the in-person stage of the competition, participants had to write an essay and take a test so that the jury could check the contestants’ theoretical knowledge and their attitude to their work. At the in-person stage, the participants performed analytical exercises, solved cases, organised group discussions, and took part in interviews and presentations. The award was organised by the Department of Youth Policy of the Voronezh Region and the Regional Youth Centre.
