On 25 November, the Department of Human Resource Management of the Faculty of Economics hold the 9th International Scientific Conference “Human Resource Management in the Global World”. The participants included students from Voronezh State University, Russian Technological University, the State University of Management, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, North-Eastern Federal University, Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science and Technology, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Vitebsk State Technological University, Surgut State University, Belgorod State National Research University, Krasnoyarsk Institute of Railway Transport, and other universities.
The conference was held online and included six panels. The delegates discussed the latest trends and issues of globalisation and diversity in human resource management, focusing specifically on the ways of recruiting and retaining young specialists. The conference also covered the issues of the transformation of HR policies in economic entities in Belarus, the diversification of income, and the trend of quiet firing in today’s labour market.
The results of two competitions, “Human resource management in the film industry” and “Values of the valuable”, were announced during the conference. The winners were students of Voronezh State University.
