On December 20, 2023, at a meeting of the Coordinating Body on the formation and functioning of innovation infrastructure in higher and related further professional education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation (protocol No. DA/5998-pr), it was decided to grant Voronezh State University the status of a federal innovation platform. VSU became a part of the innovation infrastructure of the Russian Federation in the area of further professional education.

The university presented an innovative educational project on the psychological and pedagogical competency of university lecturers: “Development and implementation of reflection and the design model of the psychological and pedagogical competence of a university lecturer under the conditions of further professional education”. It was prepared by the Department of Pedagogy and Pedagogical Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology. The project was developed by the head of the department, Lyudmila Kunakovskaya, and Elena Krivotulova, Associate Professor.

The main idea of the project is to develop and implement a reflection and design model of psychological and pedagogical training of lecturers of a classical university. The presented model will be practice-oriented, variable, and flexible. It will have a sufficient potential for using internal personal and professional resources of trainees as designing and reflecting subjects of scientific and pedagogical activity.

The novelty of the project is due to the substantiation of the conceptual basis in the advanced training of university lecturers, capable of constructive professional reflection and design. The status of a federal innovation platform emphasizes the university’s high scientific and educational potential and responsible attitude to the growth and development of university lecturers.

“VSU will implement an innovative education project approved by the Ministry, which gives us the opportunity to replicate innovative pedagogical experience in other educational organizations,” said Dmitry Zhukalin, Head of the Department of Innovations.
