The equipment of the Sber Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the VSU Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics was modernised due to the support provided by Sberbank in 2023.
As a result of the meeting with Stanislav Kuznetsov, Sberbank board representative, it was decided to allocate targeted funds for the modernisation of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. The modernisation took place as part of VSU’s competition application of the state programme for supporting universities of the Russian Federation “Priority–2030”.
“We thank our partners for their assistance, their contribution to the development of innovative research, and for fruitful collaboration. We hope to strengthen further interactions and business ties between our organisations,” said VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky.
The modern research infrastructure supported by Sber allowed VSU to rise in the ranking of Russian universities and enter the top ten universities in the field of IT.
